Information
Similar to my prervious menu, this one has the same overrun feature to the left, right and bottom of each sub level menu where the mouse can be moved off the menu by a small amount in each direction and the menu will still stay on screen. It also has a 'left direction' dropdown sub level so that the last drop down sub levels will stay on screen.
I have used fixed widths with this menu, mainly to reduce the number of images required. It can be done with variable widths but will require a 'sliding doors' approach to make the background images fit the varying widths..
This works in Internet Explorer IE5.5, IE6, IE7 Firefox, Opera etc.
The images used are
The top level tabs image.
The first sub level top image.
The first sub level bottom image.
The first sub level top left image.
The second sub level top.
The second sub level bottom.
The third sub level top.
The third sub level bottom.
